FORM§ Terms
Terms of use

The terms, in plain words.

In short FORM is a weekly sports newsletter. Read it, enjoy it, share a line or two with credit. We work hard to get the facts right, but sport moves fast, so please do not rely on FORM for anything that matters more than a conversation.

01About these terms

These terms apply when you use the FORM website or subscribe to the FORM newsletter. By signing up you agree to them, so please read them. Our privacy notice and cookies page form part of these terms.

Nothing in these terms takes away your legal rights as a consumer. If anything here seems to, your legal rights win.

02Who we are

FORM is published by Joshua Shaw, [[TRADING NAME OR COMPANY NAME AND NUMBER]], of [[POSTAL ADDRESS]], London, United Kingdom. Email: [[CONTACT EMAIL]]. [[VAT NUMBER, IF REGISTERED; OTHERWISE DELETE]]

03The editions

The free edition

The free edition is one email each Monday, written around up to three picks from our list. It costs nothing. To receive it you must be 16 or over, give a working email address that belongs to you, and confirm your subscription from the email we send.

We aim to send every Monday at 7am UK time, but the free edition is offered as it is, and we may change what it contains, skip an issue, or stop it altogether. If we stop it for good, we will tell you first.

The full edition

The full edition, at £5 a month, is not open yet. When it opens, section 4 will apply to it, and we will update these terms before anyone is charged.

This section applies once paid subscriptions open. Until then, nobody is charged.

05Using FORM fairly

Please do not:

If you break these terms, we may stop sending you FORM.

06Our content

The writing, design and name of FORM belong to us or the people we licensed them from. You are welcome to read your issues, keep them, and forward the occasional one to a friend. You may quote a short passage, for example on social media, as long as you credit FORM. Anything more needs our permission.

FORM quotes sportspeople and other publications for the purposes of reporting and comment, and credits the source. Club, league and tournament names are used only to identify what we are writing about. FORM is independent and is not connected with, or endorsed by, any club, player, league, governing body or bookmaker.

If you believe something in FORM uses your work unfairly, email [[CONTACT EMAIL]] and we will look at it promptly.

If you send us a reply, a comment or a suggestion, you allow us to use it to improve FORM. We will not publish your name or words without asking you first.

07Accuracy and AI

FORM is drafted with AI tools, using research from live web sources, and edited by Joshua Shaw before it is sent. We check facts carefully, but sport moves quickly, sources can be wrong, and mistakes can slip through. Scores, fixtures, injuries, transfers, rankings and quotes may have changed by the time you read them.

FORM is for information and enjoyment. It is not professional, financial or betting advice, and you should not rely on it when making decisions that matter. If you spot an error, reply to the issue and we will correct it in the next one.

08Odds and betting

Our writing sometimes mentions bookmakers' odds, because they are part of how sport is discussed. We do this only as news. We do not give tips, we are not paid by bookmakers, and we do not link to betting sites. If you choose to gamble, please do so responsibly and only if you are 18 or over. Free, confidential help is available from GamCare on 0808 8020 133 and from BeGambleAware.

09Our liability to you

10Ending your subscription

You can leave at any time using the unsubscribe link at the foot of every issue.

We may stop sending FORM to you if you break these terms, if your address keeps bouncing, or if we close FORM.

11Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when the full edition opens or the law changes. We will change the date at the top, and tell you by email before any change that affects you significantly takes effect. If you are a paying reader and do not accept a change, you can cancel before it takes effect.

12Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If a dispute arises, please contact us first and we will try to resolve it. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts where you live.

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. These terms are between you and us. Nobody else has any rights under them.
