FORM§ Cookies
Cookies and storage

No cookies. One small note to self.

In short The FORM website sets no cookies and runs no advertising or tracking tools. We count visits ourselves, anonymously, without storing anything on your device.

01Cookies

The FORM website does not set any cookies. It has no third-party analytics, no advertising, no social media buttons, no embedded videos and no tracking pixels. Our own visit counter sends the page you opened, the name of the site that linked you here (for example "linkedin"), and whether you reached or used the signup picker. It stores nothing in your browser and keeps no IP address or identifier, so it needs no consent.

02Nothing is stored in your browser

UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, or PECR) covers anything a website stores on your device, not only cookies. This website stores nothing on your device at all: no cookies, no local storage and no session storage.

The site briefly holds your picks in the page while you fill in the signup form. Nothing is saved once you leave or submit.

PECR requires a website to ask your permission before storing anything on your device. FORM stores nothing on your device, so there is nothing to ask permission for.

Because we store nothing that needs your consent, we do not show a cookie banner. If we ever add anything that does, we will ask first, and saying no will be as easy as saying yes.

If you would rather the item was not stored at all, you can block site storage in your browser settings, or use a private window. The site works fully either way: you will simply see the front cover again.

04Other services the site connects to

Some links take you to other services, such as Buttondown (to sign in or manage your subscription) and, once the full edition opens, Stripe (to pay). Those pages are run by those companies and may use their own cookies, explained in their own policies: Buttondown and Stripe.

05In our emails
